Meet Thomas Croc

Fascinated by martial arts since a young age, Thomas began his journey with Shotokan Karate in his teenage years. His teachers quickly recognized his natural ability and told him he had the potential to become a champion.

Yet, his path took a different turn. While traveling across Asia, Thomas discovered the Nam Yang Kung Fu Retreat in the mountains of northern Thailand. The school’s lifestyle and philosophy resonated deeply with him — and from that moment, the real journey began.

Under the guidance of Master Iain Armstrong and the senior instructors of Nam Yang, Thomas immersed himself fully in traditional Kung Fu. Living a disciplined, monastic life for several years, he practiced, studied, and embodied the ancient principles of internal and external martial arts.

Through this way of life, Thomas came to understand that Kung Fu is more than a system of combat — it is a study of life itself. It teaches how to move in harmony with nature, to cultivate energy, and to strengthen both body and spirit.

Since 2020, Thomas has been based in Greece, where he co-founded Nam Yang Greece with his partner Ageliki Croc. Together they host Chi Kung, Shuang Yang, and Kung Fu retreats in Corfu, blending traditional Shaolin practice with meditation, nature, and community living.

Their retreats have become a space for transformation — inviting people from around the world to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover balance through movement and stillness.
